Amset’s mission is to scientifically evaluate and disseminate the facts involved with a technical loss. Whether it is determining the origin and cause, researching repair versus replacement, analyzing costs, or any other aspect involved with a technical loss, Amset will apply the scientific method to get the facts straight.

The president and owner of Amset is Frank Seter. Mr. Seter received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator. Mr. Seter has 23 years experience in technical consulting. Prior to committing to the technical consulting profession, Mr. Seter worked eight years for the Electro-Motive division of General Motors in McCook, Illinois specializing in plant layout.
