Underground Pipe Break
An insured was drilling under a restaurant parking lot and hit an unmarked water pipe, which was part of a fire protection system.  Amset was brought in as the project consultant to provide expertise on excavation, damage assessment, repair methodology, and cost control.  Amset determined the most cost effective method of repair, while ensuring that the claimant’s fire protection system was restored in the least amount of time.

Business as Usual
A commercial fire left the business owner in need of valuable papers, work in progress, computer records, and other valuable items trapped in the wreckage.  Amset managed the various post-fire aspects of the loss by locating replacement machinery, recovering computer data, and restoring valuable papers back to a pre-loss condition.  Amset was able to assist the insurance company by helping the insured get fully functional as soon as possible, thereby cutting down on loss of business.

Bus Duct Refurbishment
Because of recent construction on a high rise building, large pieces of scale had broken free within the cooling tower piping and clogged supply side strainers on the rooftop unit. The cooling tower overflowed, water breached pipe dams on the roof, and entered the building. Water affected the bus duct within the building, among other items. Amset assisted in managing the disassembly, transportation, drying, and reassembly of the bus duct.
